A specifications sheet of the Nokia 9 has leaked, Igniting a Number of the expected features in the upcoming smartphone.
This handset has been a subject of speculation for a long time now. Ever since Nokia-licensee HMD Globalentered the market with Android-powered smartphones, folks have been waiting to find a superior flagship handset in the business. The company satisfied that demand with the Nokia 8 and also the Nokia 8 Sirocco, though the Nokia 9 has long been rumoured alongside. According to the latest escape, the Nokia 9 seems to pack attributes that can take on the Samsung Galaxy S9 or the recent Apple iPhone versions.
The Nokia 9 was formerly anticipated to be launched by HMD International two weeks ago, in Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Ahead of this event, several escapes and rumours had surfaced on the internet but the handset did not make its way to the launch event. However, now an image of the specifications sheet of this Nokia 9 has been leaked via Finnish site Suomimobiili, showing most of the information concerning the handset. Highlights include the Snapdragon 845 SoC, 8GB of RAM, Gorilla Glass 5, a triple camera set up, an in-glass fingerprint reader, an 18-karat gold finish on the rear panel, and an IP68 rating.
Nokia 9 specifications
According to the most recent leak, the Nokia 9 is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone that can operate Android 8.1 Oreo – it is also listed to be an Android One smartphone, such as most of the mid- and – top-end Android models unveiled by HMD Global at MWC 2018. The smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC combined with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
However, the highlight of this Nokia 9 will be the camera. The smartphone will allegedly pack 41-megapixel, 20-megapixel, and 9.7-megapixel detectors on the trunk with Carl Zeiss optics in a dual camera camera setup that is full with 4x optical zoom, alongside both Xenon and LED flash modules. The 41-megapixel sensor is said to include 1.4-micron pixels, OIS, a wide-angle lens, along with a variable aperture of f/1.5 along with f/2.4. The second, 20-megapixel sensor is said to be combined with a telephoto lens OIS, 1-micron pixels, and also an f/2.4 aperture. The next, 9.7-megapixel sensor is reportedly a monochrome offering. The back triple camera setup is coupled with an 18-karat gold trim.

As per the specifications sheet, the Nokia 9 will come with 256GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone will soon be powered by a 3900mAh battery, also said to send up to 24 hours of talk time and up to 565 hours of standby time. It’s also listed wwith Quick Charge 4.0 service that is rated to deliver 60 percent charge in thirty minutes. It is also said to add wireless charging service, with a ceramic back plate also recorded to enable it – like the Mi Mix 2S. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone will quantify 150.6×75.2×7.3mm. The specifications sheet also notes the use of five high-performance microphones which can capture in 24-bit sound.
Notably, HMD Global hasn’t provided any official particulars and this is just a leak which needs to be taken with a pinch of salt. We can expect more information including the launch date and pricing of the Nokia 9 in the coming days.
