Motorola appears to have Eventually started rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo Upgrade for the Moto Zsmartphone.The latest Android update is said to be currently available only in Brazil but is expected to roll out in several other areas soon. Users report the the beginning of the rollout on a Lenovo forum, which US and European markets will need to wait for some opportunity to find the update.
The Motorola Moto Z was first established in June 2016. It was subsequently unveiled in India later in October running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The identical year, the company rolled out the Android Nougat update for smartphone.
However, Moto Z users can now expect to get the latest Android Oreo OS soon. As per a thread in a Lenovo website, the Android 8.0 update contains the March security limitation and weighs in at approximately 1.4GB, as reported from The Android Soul. The update can be obtained as an OTA but can also be manually downloaded on your smartphone. The update’s software version is OPL27.76-51 and you can go to Settings > About Phone to check for the latest update, whenever it is available.
It includes 4GB of RAM and packs 64GB of internal storage which may be enlarged up to 2TB by means of a microSD card. So far as the cameras are concerned, the Motorola Moto Z packs a 13-megapixel main camera on the rear plus a 5-megapixel front shooter to get selfies.
Meanwhile, the Android Oreo upgrade brings Background limits, Autofill, Smart text choice, and Picture-in-Picture mode. Similarly, the new upgrade includes Android Instant App assistance and completely redesigned emoji set, flexible icons, and simpler setup for unknown apps.
