The Huawei P20 Guru and P20 Lite have been launched in India at an event in New Delhi, within about a month of the global unveiling. The newest Huawei P20-series smartphones feature AI-powered camera features, together with all the optics ‘co-engineered’ with lens manufacturer Leica. Huawei P20 Guru, P20 Lite cost in India
The Huawei P20 Pro has been priced at Rs. 64,999, although the P20 Lite was priced at Rs. 19,999. Both smartphones will probably be available exclusively via Amazon India starting May 3, and launching offers will be revealed on the day of release. The P20 Pro will be available in Graphite Black, Midnight Blue, and the P20 Lite will soon be offered in Midnight Black and Klein Blue colour Choices.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Huawei P20 Pro runs EMUI 8.1 predicated on Android 8.1 Oreo, together with support for Google ARCore along with a deeply customised Google Assistant. It supports multi-tasking and a number of windows, and is capable of handling two distinct tasks at the same time, apart from emulating a keyboard and touchpad on the smartphone itself.

Coming into the Huawei P20 Lite runs EMUI 8.0 along with Android 8.0 Oreo. The handset has a 2.5D subtle curved glass design to the back. It has 64GB of storage built in, with option to expand this up to 256GB via microSD cards.

On the imaging front, the P20 Lite has a dual camera set in the rear with a 16-megapixel main sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 and a 2-megapixel secondary detector. On the front, the smartphone includes a 24-megapixel sensor having an f/2.0 aperture, with support for AR-based stickers very similar to Apple’s Animojis and Samsung’s AR Emojis. The smartphone also includes support for 3D facial recognition using 96 recognition factors, in addition to facial unlock. The smartphone measures 148.6×71.2×7.4mm and contains a non-removable 3,000mAh battery.
